sometimes, women need time to get over the feelings they have for an ex... and during this time, it's difficult for her to interact with said ex, without stirring up bad feelings...

Unless she's sent you death threats, I'd consider giving her the benefit of the doubt... I mean, not like "best friends" but the ocasional hanging out couldn't hurt, could it?
