Initiate operation entire world goes to shit
All men 18-25 start learning Farsi or Korean, hopefully it wont start before I graduate since the new selective service laws only let you finish the semester youre currently enrolled in. With renewed confidence in Gods will it wont be long now till George sets his sights on the very real dangers of Iran and N. Korea with the two divisions we have left uncommitted. Considering we have 8 tied up in leaving for or coming back from Iraq and the insurgency growing it looks good that I might start my government service early. Considering the national budget is only say a few billon in the red im sure we wont have any problems paying for two new countries and giving my dad a few more 80,000 dollar tax breaks.
Its not like George Sr., Ford, or even Reagan got elected. While I disagree(ed) with their policies I realized that we are all on the same team and that those men truly believed that what they were doing was right for this country. But I am honestly scared of what will happen to the world now. Maybe George really believes in what he is doing, but he has said that God tells him what to do. Since I think that God was an idea created by leaders of ancient social groups to create a sense of fear that would let them stay in control and give them a way to convince the people that there is a defined system of right and wrong that creates clear limits on an individuals potential impact on society, Further instilling a need for one person to remain dominate within the group as a care taker for the helpless freethinking individuals. Of course right and wrong are based on ones individual perception of reality. And a leader uses a fabricated intangible improvable idea to enforce his particular perception of reality (based on his life experiences) on to those around him. The fact that the man most in charge of representing me as both head of government and head of state is motivated by this idea makes me scared. Scared that my country will never make a mistake because we operate by divine mandate. Scared that more of my friends will die to spread an ideology to the rest of the world that that will not only fail because of cultural and religious reasons but in its current incarnation is obviously perverted in its intolerance.
Maybe im just drunk but I think I might have to reassess my immediate career plans.

both reactionary and overreactionary are bad things when wielded by shortsightedness. regardless of the poster boy we still live in the greatest country in the world. even those who oppose your ideas wont let it go to waste in spite.
