so.... aparantly there was a new law passed that says that any salary employee needs to be making at least... i don't remember the actual number, but it's more than i make.
and so, after a year of being a salary assistant manager, i'm back to being hourly. of course, i'm still making a decent hourly wage especially for food service. and i'll still be making the same ammount, but it's just so weird. the whole point of me going salary in the first place was because i was already pushing the 40hr a week thing and it was just ridiculous to give me another raise with my promotion and still keep me hourly. and now that's what we're doing. it's kinda cool now that i'm back to 40 hours instead of 45. and that i'll get overtime if i should go over.
it kinda sucks that this didn't start last week when i worked 52 hours and was still salary so it didn't even matter.
it's just going to be so tough to go back to counting my hours again after a year of forgetting to clock on and having it not matter.
