It's time for the second edition of"Artist Of The Moment". Whoever reads this random blog within Millions of other more important blogs, sorry for the delay. I was house sitting for the week and my laptop doesn't connect to the persons internet. But anyways, on to the music!
Today's artist is Twin Atlantic, a Scottish rock band from Glasgow. They recently formed in 2007 and have toured with bands such as Funeral For A Friend, You Me at Six, Thrice, The Lostprophets and The Subways. They have so far released one EP entitled "A Guidance From Colour" and their debut album, "Vilarium" on RedBull Records.
The first song of three is "Lightspeed". It's the first track off their debut album "Vilarium". It's a nice catchy song and gives you an amazing example of their interesting style of rock. A def listen to.
"You're Turning Into John Wayne" is also from their debut album "Vilarium". I find the song very catchy and it does have a good meaning behind it if you listen to the lyrics very carefully.
And the third and final song is "I Got A Feeling" a cover of Black Eyed Peas. I'm not a huge Black Eyed Peas fan but the acoustic cover of this song is great, maybe even better. Their cover of the song makes it sound like as if it was originally written to be an indie acoustic song. My second highest recommend today.
Tell me what you think of the band, what you think of "Artist Of The Moment" thus far, what band do you recommend me to give a listen to and other interesting things you want to say in a comment below \/
Well that wraps up the second edition of "Artist Of The Moment". Hope to hear from you guys! Till next time, keep rocking.
