I am listening to the To Live and Die in L.A. soundtrack from 1985 by Wang Chung and it still kicks major ass in 2005...
Which gets me thinking of my trip out to L.A. very soon; I am meeting some friends and maybe could have a job opportunity. I have a sublet from a friend for at least 2 months. Yet, I still feel torn. I have been a Jersey boy all my life, and something tells me my personality won't flow with LA.
Another thing, I spent $2000 in six days...at least $800 of which I wasted depending on your POV. I have a smidgen left in the checking account that will need to last me until a week tomorrow.
So, that makes my attendence nearly imposible to the SGNY event on Sat. Being poor is one thing, being broke in NYC is another.
