August 10th.
Woke up, got out of bed, dragged a comb across my head, found my way downstairs and drank a cup looking up I noticed I was late...found my way upstairs and had a smoke and somebody smoke and I went into a dream...I love to turn you on...
Interview in Whippany, NJ (Whippany?); I have no idea where it is, the recruiter gave me directions. I will get there, somewhere up the parkway off toward Paterson, etc. TrimSpa - Goen Technologies is the company. This will be the first interview I actually got from posting a resume on-line and I have been posting them for at least five years so I guess some people look. I am just wondering why the company needs a copywriter? They have their slogan "Be Envied" and "TrimSpa Baby", so maybe they are looking for a new slogan. How 'bout this: "TrimSpa, makes you shit like a goose!" or "TrimSpa - Get Manic Baby!" Those supplements ultimitely are shite.
Tonight http://www.music70.com/ listening party in NYC- I am pretty happy 'bout that. The woman from Warp Records gave be the "secret locale" and asked me not to publicize it. So, I had to remove it from the events page on SG. I just wanted to be cool and contribute like some party throwing yahoo. Nobody cared anyway. I didn't get responses, in fact, I am not getting many responses, nor have I been scoping the site for new friends, so I get what I get.
Finally finished that Jack London book last night. My next book TBD, right now I am reading nine things at once, no focus. Probably A Scanner Darkley by Philip K Dick. I want to read it before seeing the movie by Richard Linklater. It is shot in the same style as his "Waking Life" cartoonish Macintosh creation. It won't be no Bad News Bears, I know that. Linklater kicks ass.
I wrote an article for the newswire last night, but when I submitted it I realized I didn't format it right. It will be rejected I suppose. It was on the HBO show Extras coming in the fall.
Well, I need to print out a resume and put my best phoney I want the job face on.
Listening to Nirvana Bleach; when you haven't listened to Nirvana in a while, there is no denying that it brings out tons of emotions. I still want to see the Cobainesque film playing in the city "Last Days"
See you later.
