Late, late, late, bah!
So, Prom was nice. Got to meet all kinds of interesting new people. Had the pleasure of witnessing perhaps the very worst band I have ever seen play live. Strongbone, they were called and I don't know where they came from, but many times that night did I wish they would return thence. But despite that and the drunken normals we had to share space with, I think it was a good evening overall. It's unfortunate that some people did not enjoy themselves, but I think most did. Clearly it would have been much better if we'd had the space to ourselves (and admittedly a better venue), but we did the best we could with what we had and in truth, people make the party, after all.
Brunch the next day was also nice although we missed a few people and the bright beautiful sunshine fried my poor short-haired head. Perhaps I should get me a summer hat and wear sandals with white socks and Bermuda shorts. The again, perhaps not.
Our upstairs neighbour cut down the roses, she said they were dead. And so it goes.
