Hellooooo!!!!!!!!
Well, I have two choices - - I can either go make a start to grating my fingers away in an attempt to make my scrummy yummy chicken and rice soup, or I can sit on SG and fiddle about and update my blog.......hmm......decisions, decisions
So.......one or two things have been happening in DianneLand recently. Firstly, I got into SGS (yay!) - so thanks to those who put in a good word I'm looking forward to meeting everyone!!
Another happy development has been the arrival of my new flatmate The idea had been toyed with for some time, muchly to do with said flatmate having a prick for a Landlord (who, by the way, shall feel my legal wrath if he causes any more upset!!!! heehee), and also because, well, he's here all the time anyway......so I might as well start charging some rent
In all seriousness though, having him around makes me a very happy camper. The flat looks tremendous now after having shifted things about, and I get to have cuddles every morning and night. Lucky me!!
Another happy happening is that I am nearing the end of my first year training in my job. As of this Friday, I will be a second year trainee - - bringing with it the inevitable extra responsibility and no doubt extra stress, but also a much welcomed pay rise. Yay!! It's not a lot, but it all helps! One of the first things I am going to do with my first pay is get my new tattoo sorted. I've been wanting a tribal design on my lower back (tramp stamp!) for ages now, so I'm doodling away with one or two designs and will hopefully have it done by the beginning of September. I can't wait!!
Nothing much else exciting has been happening really, just the usual. Although I am now the proud owner of a Cineworld unlimited card and using it to the max already!! I've also been on holiday from work for the last week and a half which has been great, I got to spend some QT with the family and chill out. I've been tasked with the honour of preparing the buffet for my baby nephew's first birthday party next month, yay!!! I do love organising and preapring these things.......in fact, I suppose I had better quit stalling and get on with making this pot of soup!!!! Mmmmmm..................
I hope you're all well, and looking forward to meeting one or two of you SGS lot on Friday.........mine's a French Martini!!!

I've been playing for about 7 years or so, I'm not very good...in that I can't play a lot of other people's songs. I spend most of my time playing/writing my own stuff, then forgetting the riffs and writing more, haha.
I was self taught mainly...lessons are helpful I guess, they taught me some stuff I didn't know before.
And i''m DELIGHTED to hear about your cuddley new flatmate.
