took my kids on a 30 minute helicopter ride this afternoon - wow they loved it!
Only I wish it would have been longer! There is just something about being up in a small aircraft that does it for me!


SO tell me, is there anything you enjoy that oyu cannot do that often?

Halloween is fast appoaching, does anyone have any ideas on how they plan on dressing up?
I have a halloween party on the 29th and then school on the 31st! Haven't decided as of yet but hope to be something sexy, perhaps this?lip-service

I just help the nurses out on trauma/surgery. Generally, I take out the laundry, get patients water or snacks if they're allowed to have it, transport pts off the unit if they're getting discharged, run specimens to the lab if the pneumatic system's down and minor stuff like that. It's just a way to work with patients and medical staff in an inpatient setting as opposed to my outpatient job as a phlebotomist/specimen processing tech in a satellite clinic laboratory.

For Halloween I was thinking of being Billy Joe Armstrong. I've always wanted to be a rock star! The teenage nurse outfit at lip-service looks pretty cute. I'll bet you'd look hot in that! wink

6 kids in the house and a person would have no clue! They are in their own little worlds, doing their own things and it is quite like a church! It is so amazing. The boys are making me laugh like crazy though, they are walking around with their arms around each other calling each other, "my brother from another mother".

Well the kids have been up since 7:30am - kind of makes me smile when I think about how they are in such a rush to start the day! We made breakfast together - toast, scrammbles eggs, bacon, fresh OJ, home made strawberry jam (my aunt is my savior I have not had time) and watermelon slices.

I am going to drive down as soon as they give me a date. Depending on the housing situation here arcticminx might stay until next July so that our oldest daughter can graduate. If housing is not available then arcticminx and my youngest will actually move (drive) with me and the oldest will stay here with friends so she can graduate with her buddies.

I will be gone for almost the first six months doing some training in GA. I hope that it happens in Jan or Feb....I will melt away if the training is planned for next summer.
