Ok so i'm totally loving life right now. Not really sure why since i've been thrown a few curve balls lately.
I had that "fender bender" in the rocks.
It's the holiday season and i'm in the middle of my 4 week hold back at work for switching over to o/op. That means no paycheque for a month.
Still don't really know anyone in Manitoba. Lots of friendly conversations but it's hard to make any real friendships when your out on the road 90% of the time. Prior to hopping back in the truck, it was pretty much all about the family.
Just sold the house in the city to prepare for dealing with the $10000 deductible on the accident. But...
The other driver has taken full responsibility for the accident, so it looks like I won't have to cover anything. That means I didn't have to sell the house after all, but that's ok. I'll just concentrate on the farm. Got some fun plans for that reno, including a couple life size Gundam sentries.
I may not have made any real connections so far but that doesn't mean it's too late to start now. Plus I've been have fun meeting so many local musicians and artists in general.
As for the holiday season and no coin... well hell, if they matter they'll understand. If they don't, they don't matter.
I don't know. Life is good. It may have a tendency to throw curve balls, but I have a tendency to say, I got this.
Happy Holidays SG community!!!
