Had a memorial for Z yesterday at school. His parents were there, it was quite moving. Everyone said why they loved him and what a great guy he was. It was sad. I said something and couldn't help choking up at the end--it was kinda embarassing, but I'm glad his parents knew that Zeke had touched my life in some way.
Other than that, supposed to be studying but I fucking don't give a shit about tests anymore. There's so much more to life--and death--just a lot to think about. A lot that you wake up at 4am and can't get out of your head. A lot of sudden overwhelming feelings of loss, loneliness, and then genuine human connection.
And now I have to study the effects of the PATRIOT Act on the lawyer-client relationship. Funny how that works.
