It's been a long few weeks, but life is good!

Yesterday, I went hiking up in the mountains around Sierra Madre... running the trails, jumping creeks, dodging trees and just breathing in the green and the sunlight. Incredible.

I roused myself before sunrise this morning to run and hit the gym... I'm going to try to get myself ready for the Catalina Triathalon this year. Never done a tri before, and I think it sounds like a fun challenge...

... and it'll give me the opportunity to test some of the thoughts I had while hiking yesterday.

Working on a few new designs right now... I really need to photograph some of the pieces I've made recently. Oh well. Ex-gf still wont give my camera back, so we'll see.

Going to go bust some ass at the office today. After cranking out top notch pursuits for both a water quality lab and a nano science facility last week, I think they need to take a breather... but I know there's a big pharma job coming up, so it'll probably crazy busy again. Oh well.

Hitting the Snake Pit tonight after work for a black and tan (or 3) and to hang with some friends.... this is the first time I've acknowledged my own birthday since I was 14... weird.
