Ahhhhhh!!! Health!
It's funny, the things you don't know how much you appreciate until they're gone.
But, damn... now that I'm back, I feel like I can move mountains!
So... I think I will. Starting with the mountainous load of strangeness that I call my life.
Definitely time to get that moving again. I'm getting my body back under control for starters (I lost 10 lbs being sick!), so more running, a bit of time at the gym, and DEFINITELY looking forward to capoeira practice tomorrow night.
Next - the intellectual front. I've really buckled down on my cognitive science studies. This is loads of fun... everything from dynamic systems perspectives on unconcious thought processes to the biochemical basis of neuronal function. Oh, and through in some comic books and table top gaming for fun. (damn, I love being a dork)
Work... is going to have to go. At least in its current incarnation. To that end, I'm looking into real estate. The flexibility will be nice, and I've got great contacts in that field already. And I'm sure I can bend the graphic design and writing to work for me well there, too. I've also started down the linux path... I'm going to be partitioning my (stupidly huge) hard drive, and turning this machine into a dual-boot system with linux mandrake on the flip-side. It'll be nice to have an environment I can actually compile my code in natively again. Cygwin and its ilk are just annoying to deal with on the windows side.
I've also got my mp3 player loaded with tons of great new music (live dispatch, live juno reactor, and the new crystal method cd), so I can rock out where ever the fuck I want. Cheers to that!
Top all that off with some plans to grab a cabin in Mammoth for some snowboarding soon, my friend Julie playing the Viper room on Thursday, Matt producing a kick ass party downtown this weekend with Wolfie et al...
Things are definitely looking better.

also thank you but the exposure will prove good either way. face it, I am a glutton for punishment.
cheers to the new music. Javert is burning me new music off his iBook. I so want one. how is the crystal method one?
real estate rules, you would like it I think, I love that you are a dork too - you make me smile at the mere thought... and the health thing is good too. Rock out for me.
got the new Muse cd. heard the new Mars Volta? is it any good do you know?
