last night at 12 i bought a three liter bottle of livingston chardonnay with someone that finally gets me. we took it back to my room and played shot glass checkers, proceeded to get drunk, and then decided to just drive somewhere. i handed over my keys and we just went. the 10 west can take you anywhere...so i have learned in my two months of living here. we hopped on and just drove. i dont even know where we went exactly but we made it to the ocean at around 3. parking the car on the side of the road i could see nothing but rocks right in front of me and the waves breaking so far below. it was freezing but we just sat there, keeping each other warm, not even noticing. i cant convey in words how amazing the ocean looked last night...we were there till 4:30 and then went home and slept. oh man i love this city!
