I have been going on lovely adventures! Things have been alright! It is nice out which means more outside time for me. And I am a nature nut. So what that means for SG is i had kind of been neglecting it a bit. Which sucks but it was needed. Went camping this last weekend for memorial day. My boyfriends family friends own a gravel pit where his mom and her friends growing up started a sort of tradition where they just throw huge parties for major holidays and there is also a "Lowell george" memorial party (he is from Little feat and used to party there if i remember correctly)every year as well. On these holidays we tend to go camping. Which means getting super fucked up and having a grand ol' time. nature,friends,food,alcohol and bud. This is where I was and it was great! I only fell a lot but it was so worth it! I can proudly say I drank all day without passing out. ha ha.
Now for the blog homework.
What am i afraid of? and What do I collect?
I am afraid mainly of being alone. I cannot physically or emotionally stand it. I normally feel lonely even if people are around me (and I honestly don't like being around many people). I like being alone and am afraid of it at the same time. I feel like actually being alone and not having any one would be terrible. Even when I'm not alone, I feel alone, so how would really being alone be? It is a terrifying thought. I feel like I would end up being another Edgar Allan Poe. But female.
Now back to reality, I'm honestly not too sure where I went with that one.
But this is easy. I need to get out my collections! ha ha.
1st collection I started way back is my collection of rocks. I was in the big brothers big sisters program shortly after my grandma died because I had a hard socializing already, and that just kicked it in gear. The school thought that I needed someone to kind of talk to and hang out with so they gave me Marilyn who was like a grandmotherly figure. We would go to Pokagon alot and walk the trails, get ice cream, go to the beach,etc. She would always get me a few tiny rocks (polished) when we would go. I continued this collection as I got older and extended it to healing rocks, and even just rocks i thought looked cool. So far I have a bucket of them.
2nd collection is a (still small) collection of figurine Buddha's. My friends and I would get one everytime we went to the mall. (five finger discount) from one of our favorite stores there. Those friends moved last year so I have continued the collection myself! I plan to get enough to give some more to them! hahaha!
3rd collection my grandpa started for me is an American silver dollar collection and mine dates all the way back to 1992! And is still going!
4th collection is of pieces! I have a lot lot lot of glass pieces but i don't feel like taking a picture right now! lol! I used to have more, a few have gotten broken and lost.
