Well, the Sheffield/Leeds drinking/bowling whilsty drinking/gig whilst drinking/drinking extravaganza went down with record levels of fun had.

It was absofuckinglutely brilliant. I won at bowling and got a trophy, which is sat next to me right now. I got to see a lot of folks I haven't seen in a while as well as meeting a lot more new ones who were actually all ace - it takes a fair bit for me to like people straight away (what with me being a twat and all), but everyone - everyone was great and shitloads of fun fun fun was had.

I don't even remember much of the gig, but a couple of bands - The Maple State and Fastlane - were acetastic as far as I remember. Got shitloads of photos from it too, most of which I put up here.

It was all helped by the fact that my very late loan came through on the Friday completely out of the blue, so I had stupid money to play around with. I spent 140 on DVD's today in Music Zone (got a nice box set of all the Futuramas for 65, which was cheaper than buying them all in HMV's 2for1 offer. )

Anyway, off to see Modest Mouse now.
