Well I uploaded a fair few photos and noticed a few things.
1. I have about two tshirts in the world. An Inspection 12 one and a Capdown one.
2. We don't keep in contact with half of those people since they've left uni now.
3. Thatchers is foul. I stuck to Carling.
4. I don't like my long hair. It looks shit.
5. Rhyds has good niplets
We said byebye to Archie on Saturday
. Stupid oaf was crying. Made other people cry. Not me, obviously, being a MANS MAN and all. Got him a Zippo that said "IN archie. WE TRUST" on it. I thought it was great. Ah well, we got to say our goodbyes at a guest DJing gig by Shaun Ryder. Did I say DJing? I meant standing round making the normal DJ Karl do all the work. Loser.
I got a hardship loan. 50 and the head of the uni's Socialist Party offering me help any time I needed it. I think he just wanted my sex. The 50 went straight on Converge's new album (satisfyingly great) and some contact lenses anyway
We looked after a French hardcore band the other day called Rings of Saturn. Thoroughly nice guys and well deserving of my UK education tour, which involved sites such as the smack flats, townie central and Gregg's for some fine British cuisine. I shit thee not. Only one could speak English, Boris, and my French is appalling (le chat es sur le table?) so it was a giggle. But one thing did unite everyone - Action Records. Indy music stores unite generations, nations and religions. Class. Plus they offered to put us up anytime in Lyon. May have to take them up on that!
Now my illness has fallen by the wayside I shall be frequenting my usual haunts again with the tenacity that I am reknowned for. (In English, this means "I am going out in a bit") Woop!
Laters,
Ian

Can I start speaking French to you now? Amuse-toi bien au pub et prends-toi un verre en mon honneur, j'ai trop de travail pour sortir en ce moment!
Mwahaha.
