so I'm going to Sydney Australia this coming January for a friends wedding. I'm sorry to say I'm am a typical American and don't know to much about Australia. So I was wondering if anyone had any advice or suggestions for me while I am there. I know I want to go the Great Barrier Reef and I heard you can climb over the bridge but that's all I really know. I would love to see some of the wild life except for the poisons snakes. How hard would it be to squeeze in visiting new Zealand as well? A little to ambitious? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hi :) I live in australia ive lived in sydney for most of my life and in Melbourne now also I have family in nz. Sydney is great the city is fun at night and when im in the city my favourite thing is to vist george st, the markets and china town cause they are right next to each other. I havent climed the bridge my self but my lil bro did and he said it was very windy but fun. There is also they centre point tower which is a little boring but it has the sky walk if ur into that. The barrier reef is in Queensland and the sunshine coast is great to go to if u want the party night side when im there I like to go to a themed restaurant called draculas, its tacky but fun. You could squeeze in nz if u want but its actually a 6 hour flight and not as close as ppl think but its worth it if u actually spend time there to get your monies worth it wouldnt be just a 2 day thing
