buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
I've had way too much time by myself these last couple weeks. While making needles, inking stencils, cleaning house, etc - all the brainless tasks that are more habit than thought-powered actions - my mind keeps wandering through head movies and philosophy. The important thing to remember when 'philosophizing' is to start with a solid platform you can always fall back on when you get lost, otherwise it can get quite confusing and you might find yourself staring off into space for 'x' amount of time with a 7 magnum (that's a needle to you non-skin-poking-sort) in one hand and a soldering iron in the other. At least I was holding it by the right end.
Saturday is going to RAWK. Working most of the day on a pleasent fellow named Dom (who saw my toilet seat and decided he NEEDED it on his ribs. How cool is that?), then off for 'birthday' supper at *Devito's* (which I haven't been at in ages) with the parents, the brother and our respective cuddle-bunnies. This'll be their first time meeting Hugh (or, really, anyone I've ever gone out with. Wow, wait, I think that's actually accurate. Fuck me.), whom I'm sure they'll approve of seeings how he's cute, sweet and, most importantly (to them), of the male persuasion. Then on to Adam and Alicia's (I think) for Pay-per-view. Hughs vs. Gracie! I'm guessing the fight is going to be dissapointingly short but it's still going to be fun. Then I sleep in (at least somewhat) Sunday. Score.
Then out with the mother for most of Sunday, and rabbit for supper for the family. Work of the drawing persuasion on Monday but it shouldn't prove to be the hair pulling sort.
And as a prelude to this lovely weekend (for which I already have all neccesary drawings and needles done) there is tomorrow, where I work work work on three tattoos, all of which are paying customers, and then out for a night of cross-dressing Zombie rawkin out with BRAINS! at the Alternative (which I didn't know existed).
Off! For vitamin N, a walk home in the lovely night (morning?) air, and. . .a swift cleaning of my once again pig-sty-like apartment. Why do my parents always decide to come in right at the end of busy work weeks(months?)?
. . .I need a haircut.
