So I'm back!

Been a-jaunting round England visiting friends, family and loved-ones. Caught a cold and cursed!

Back now to the care and attention of 108 18yr olds (and that ain't no joke) who are my tutees for this term. Whoever gave me the responsibility of looking after people only 4 or 5 years younger than me including a bunch of super-hot cuties seriously needs their head examined, but I'm not complaining! biggrin ARRR!!! biggrin

Ok I almost understand where you are coming from but I have a couple questions first:
When you say multiple religions, its actually one religion, with multiple sects who hate each other enough to actually to bring "misfortune" each other. Different sects are more popular in different cities or like in baghdad parts of the city and they control everything , if you arent apart of the sect then you are lower class. The surrounding countries are fighting for the oil here not just outside countries. You say "We supplied them with weapons" which may be true in a sense but it was actually the CIA which the public had no knowledge of.
What about before Saddam it seems to me the guy incharge then was as much of a tyrant (I think I read the people actually put Saddam in charge correct me if im wrong)
As for viscious dictator you actually have that nailed they have a group here called Free the Prisoners when I first got here I thought it was our POW's but actually it is the over 50,000 people in baghdad alone who were dragged out of there homes at night and never seen again. I helped run our local POW camp when I first got here and the shit we had to clean out of the preexisting jail we were using was chilling. There were hooks on the ceilings in each room one room actually had a large dark stain under it, I can only assume was blood. We found a metal chair , directly hooked to a breaker box with restraints atached to it. The best was the wood chipper we found by the river that was so bloodstained you could scrape it off with a stick you could see the pieces of clothe and bone fragments embedded in the blood. He was killing people then feeding to the river via the chipper(which is ingenius if you have a high body count and almost no where else to put mass graves).
While there are some angry fanatics alot of trouble comes from the shiite mosques. You wouldn't believe the amount of intelligence that states thats where they are hiding weapons and shit, only because we were not going into there mosques till recently. Now the Sunnis who are the major Saddam supporters are a problem , for the most part it isn't them attacking us. The shiites had the most to gain for us getting Saddam ousted now they want us to leave so iran can take over the country , and they are the ones leading a majority of the attacks. As for murdering citizens I disagree the people we see like us its the people we don't see that are the problem sure there have been accidental deaths but not alot.
You bring up all the pain we have caused but what about all the support we are also one of the leading countries in foriegn aid whether it be for other reasons or not.

In conclusion I agree it was for the oil but we arent taking the oil most of it is being sold to other nations. We arent keeping the money either the refineries were turned over to the Iraqis months ago. I know this because we closed the jail and now guard gas stations (totaly gay I know) This bullshit was fought for some other reason I think opne you or I may never know about, sure we speculate but its all propaganda and rhetoric unless you are a mind reader.

oh yeah I am adding you as a buddy I hope you don't mind , this was stimulating , and not in a sexual way. lol
