I fell in love with Godhead the moment I heard them in...1998? 1999? An industrial cover of "Eleanor Rigby", followed by more magic...who WAS this!?
I would, roughly 2 years later, decide to take up hunting Godhead again, and found an album at a local record store-"2000 Years of Human Error". Well, I didn't know any title but "Eleanor Rigby", and that was here....but the copyright date seemed suspect. Bought it anyway.
That album really helped me push through parts of 2001. I later found the original indie released with the radically different "Eleanor Rigby", and loved that album as well.
I finally got around this week to the most recent album, "Evolver". It's perfect. It strikes all the right chords. It is holy to me. Godhead is officially a favorite.
