The cat is adorable....obviously never gotten attention in his few months, and is now the most demanding lap cat ever. Of course, he's also taken time to make it more like home:since he'd grown up in a clothing warehouse, he likes to steal clothes/blankets-one he's drug into the cubbyhole nook of a shelf, another is a hanging blanket that he's turned into a kind of hermit shell for himself.
It's a time warp....I'm 2 years ago again. Mediocre but addictively routine job that pays the bills and then some, friggin cold because of an erratic heater, absolutely alone, the hopes and plans for the next stages of life gone from decaying to smashed, looking to restart but not having an option available.
I really do wonder what I'm living for.
Life would be easier with boobs. "Hi, pay for my life and dont leave!" "OK!"
SO....if you had a time machine and could go back to ONE precise deciding point, what/when would it be? Do you really KNOW that that particular decision was the one that caused the rest of the cards to tumble? How do you define the failing point?
On the upside....no hope=no fear.

If I had a time machine I would go back and do it all over. Make a lot of mistakes instead of just one: not making any mistakes.
