Yeesh, another thunderstorm last night. I used to really enjoy them, but now I just worry that my poor little pup is going to have a heart attack each time there is some thunder. You'd think dogs would get used to thunder over time since nothing ever happens, but it doesn't seem to work that way.
Found a family of mice in the shed yesterday and relocated them to a park on the other side of town. Managed to keep mum and her six wee bairns together; although I had to note that when the box they lived in was opened, mother mouse fled to the safety of the shed and paced along the back wall while watching me - like the shed was her house or something (she never once paid a penny in rent!). I left them the box and bedding and a little food, from there its up to them to survive in the 'wilds'.
I think the trip to Montreal is off, but I may instead head up to see a friend in Quebec City. I've never been there and hear it will be celebrating its 450'th birthday in 2008. Not bad for a North American City. Maybe I'll have some tales of debauchery to record here next week, but more than likely it will just be some touristy notes.
