Let me tell you why.
So I seem to be gaining some better health the longer the week goes. I barely felt sick today, and apart from carrying my massive laptop home in my satchel bag this afternoon, my back has been pretty good. I'm confident now that I will in fact be able to exercise next week.
Work day was quick because I finished at 3. I had an appointment for microdermabrasion you see. This is one of my 2014 resolutions/goals; to make my skin look better. I got a voucher for 3 sessions and today was the last.
I came home and my new bed had arrived. So I spent the rest of the afternoon organising all the random crap that was left in the spare bedroom so I could eventually build a bed in there. I'm changing rooms because the spare room is bigger. Also this current room was "our" room. Also this current room backs on to an overgrown garden with possums and a house with 11 bedrooms of all different nationalities. I tidied it all up and let the roomba clean the floor 4 times. I also cleaned the laundry in preparation for my new washing machine tomorrow, and cleaned up the kitchen.
My groceries arrived and apparently I ordered a shit tonne of fruit and veg. This was another of my goals/resolutions for the year; to eat better/get fitter/swap my gut fat for some muscle. I had lost 5.4kg up until I hurt my back. So I made myself a pizza. It's not what you think though! I made it on a whole meal wrap as the base, a little sauce, tomatoes, garlic, lean ham and light mozzarella, and rocket. And it was delicious. Tomorrow I'm going to juice my fruit and veg and it is going to taste horrid. But I need to commit to this.
Then I watched two more episodes of Game of Thrones and came to bed. I like being productive. It means I'm not wasting about moping that I'm all by myself on a Friday night.
