I had lunch with my mother and brother today. Coffee club does a pretty decent eggs benedict.
We then went to JB Hifi and I bought a couple of CD's. My friends complain that I never change the CD in my car. That's because I like to give each album a good 3 week run so that I can fully appreciate it, and let albums with subtle brilliance prove themselves to me. I like to give bad albums a chance to wow me. Case in point: Panic at the Disco - Pretty, Odd. I really wanted to like it because I loved their first album. My favourite album of 2007. Pretty, Odd, was SHIIIIIIIT.
So I rifled through the CD's to see if anything caught my eye. Apparently Funeral for a Friend have a new album. So I bought that. And a Red Jumpsuit Apparatus album because it was only $10. Both Soundwave bands.. Time to prepare for the festival, I thought. The Funeral album so far hasn't wowed me. They seem to have lost their edge since Hours.
Moving on.
I went shopping before work because I realised that I really just rotated about 4 pairs of shorts and therefore I should buy some new shorts. I also went to Dusk to get candle presents for all of the people who helped out with the show on Monday. Rather than giving them like $20 each I figured a gift would be a bit better.
I got some Subway and went to work. The night fill manager didn't know why I was there. I was written on the full roster as working but not in the book for the team for tonight. So I finished my sandwich and called Dylan to ask what the fuck went on there, and apparently it was just an oversight and that I should go back inside and tell them I was working. I've had 3 shifts there and I am not comfortable telling my superiors what to do. So I just went home and didn't work.
Here are some pictures.
This is the cake that I made last night, with the cream I also whipped last night. I ate the shit out of that.
This is the washing up job that I said I would "do on the ads" of Lost. 7HD has ads of about 30 seconds in length so I would usually get about 3 spoons done and I'd get to go back and watch TV. After it was over I finished about half of it and intend on going back to it tomorrow.
This was me a short time ago.
This is my impression of the face on my new bag.
I call these "new shorts 1". Super comfortable if not tight on the waist because I am getting FAT.
"new shorts 2" were not on my bodice at the time. Dickies rip-offs.
Skelanimals shirt. $5! Super psyched.
Picnic blanket-turned-shirt
Vest and shirt ensemble. Looked good together on the rack.. Bought them both. I'm a vest kind of guy.
Oh, and, David Boon
He famously vomited on the Adelaide Oval in a WSC game in 1988 before a live national television audience of millions (he went on to make 122 and win Man Of The Match). He has also been popular for his drinking exploits and singing of team songs.
Boon achieved much fame and notoriety for consuming 52 cans of beer on a flight from Sydney to London[9] before the victorious 1989 Ashes tour that saw Australia regain the trophy after five years of English dominance; the previous record had been held by Rod Marsh, who it is believed consumed 45 cans, although there is conjecture as to whether Marsh actually finished can #45, and some believe his attempt only equalled the record of 44 cans set by Doug Walters. Another passionate report of said record claims Boon finished 54 drinks totalling around 19.5 litres of beverages @ 5% alcohol (per 375ml serve), the majority of which consumed at such an altitude that the effects of the alcohol were doubled [10]. Boon is often jokingly referred to as the "Keg on Legs" [11] not only because of his legendary drinking exploits, but also for his "fireplug" build and stature, and dogged, iconoclastic batting displays.
I know which bed I'd rather be in.

I've hardly done any preparation for the upcoming festivals. Soundwave and V-Festival.
Actually, short of NIN, Alice in Chains and Lacuna Coil, I've got no idea about any of the bands on the line up.
Most disturbing.
Oh yeah, Hi! I stumbled across your jounral and thought it was an interesting read. Also, the picture of the shirt and vest combo is well cool. You do well as a shirt and vest kinda guy.
im not going to see my friends tonight.
im too tired.
i havent been to sleep yet. which is like 3 nights of no sleep.
i got drunk last night on one can of smirnoff and gurana. im so cadbury.and it wasnt even one whole can. cos i found the can in the garden this morning and it was pretty full.
but i think it may also be because i wore my glasses last night, which i havent worn in ages. and i wasnt used to them so they made me feel a little drunk..
what the fuk happend to my hair..
i put a toner in, was suposed to go white. but it actualy put purple streaks thru my hair , but it looked wicked. and thats why i was wearing my glasses, cos they are purple square frames with silver diamontes on it.
but then i woke up this morning... and the purple has gone...
so that sucks.
by the way i wore a vest last night and i couldnt stop singing that vest song i told you that i hated. arrrrrhh.
well.. this is probs my 2 fav songs from deathcab for cutie..
they have copyright on most of their songs on youtube so there is not audio. but this one works.
