I had a shitty day. Not that many shitty things happened, I just didn't like how I felt today.
I hate working on Tuesday's because Sarah Jane is the WORST worker. Out of everyone there, she's probably next in line of seniority behind the managers, but the only way you would know it is because she's quick to boss you around, certainly not from the example she sets. She'll call her friends up, and expect you to serve things while she's on the phone. Then, when you don't, she'll make them call her back 10 minutes later. AND she'll talk to customers/friends about the stupidest crap for a good amount of time. I'll be busy doing everything and all she'll have to do is serve one person, by either postponing her conversation for 30 seconds or by ending a conversation she is being paid to have, and yet I still have to do it. FUCK YOU.
Last Tuesday I did every single job there was to do for a night closer. You're supposed to share the jobs. I did everything, and did it quicker than it usually takes two people to do. I don't mind doing it, I just don't like seeing people stand around being paid for nothing.
To add to that, I was hoping to play at Molly Malones tomorrow night, so on my break I sent a text message to Todd. That little fuck gave me 5 two letter responses in a row. I didn't have time to mess around. I had 10 minutes to organise 4 people. All he had to say is yes, and that he'll ask Brett because he's the only one with Brett's number. He couldn't even do that. I'm so incredibly sick of being the manager. If they don't want to play then just quit, because the thought seriously crossed my mind tonight. I just don't know whether it's worth the constant disappointment and frustration.
