8 am Box Call, emptied 5 trucks in 2 1/2 hours ... got some breakfast
11:30 am - Hour before Half (Hour) to Curtain of Matinee Show ... 2 hrs, 45 minute show ... then pack Wardrobe ...
no break before 4:30 Load Out starts ...
at 9:30 pm ... Dinner was catered, ... paid half hour meal break ...
15 trucks later ... off the clock at 3 am ...
4 am at home ... Bottle of Alice White Cabernet Sauvignon ... opened

but the shit is HEAVY, and doesn't roll easy. Some pieces had to be pulled up a 6% grade out of the Theater by winch, onto a flatbed Tow-Truck, then taken out to the street, onto a flatbed trailer, and pushed into the Traveling Trailer ... pics tomorrow when I upload them
We had 2 teams of 6 truckloaders ... average about 1 1/2 hrs per trailer ... but the shuffle of trailers was what took the time. (I think I have some pics of the "dock" situation ... WAIT! ... there is no DOCK!
and yes, with the team, ... we all know how to 4-Man lift a box/case, by the corner ... it's just the long hours that can kill you
... not to mention ... this was a 32 show run, in 4 weeks ... 8 shows a week, 6 days a week ... I have had only Mondays off, in the past month ... I even turned down work, Dispatch called me to work, Twice!, on those Mondays ...
and yes ... living in LV ... I was not doing as well, as I am here, now ... being gone for 5 years, and paying my Union dues - keeping my Seniority - moving back was a smart move. I just wished LV was "The Entertainment Capitol of the World", as it's advertised to be ...
