It's been a few days since I have posted. Been very busy with work and at the end of my day I was just so tired to get on and blog about it!
Since I last posted, I got my half sleeve worked out! Looks so good! It is about 95% finished!! I will post pictures soon. It is in healing mode and starting to peel a little. The tattoo is from a painting called 'The Dance of Death' from 1919. Dance of Death I saw it and knew I had to get it tattooed on me. It is such a beautiful painting. My artist did such a wonderful job with it. Can't wait till it's finished!
Then this weekend was crazy at work. I work in Pike Place Market, which is the tourism hot spot of Seattle. And since it was Memorial Day weekend... it was slammed. I was cooking so much every morning and didn't really feel caught up until today!!! So worth it though. Going to be a great pay check! And that is always nice. One of the things I find to be great at my job is the compliments.... I mean people say the like the food... but today I had this lady that wasn't from Russia, but from a country near by go crazy for my borsch I made. She could tell I was not Russian and was so excited I had made something so delicious she grew up on. It is tough to make something so tasty that would get a re-action to connect someone to their own culture, and I did that. I felt very flattered. Was a very nice day today.
My roommate is partially moving out. We are on month to month but decided to live together till the end of August to save money. She took her cat to her boyfriends today though. Which is great and all. But I see the sadness on my cats face. I cuddled him and played. But he misses his pal. Almost makes me want another kitty... but I think I am good with just the one for now. My roomie and I got curious last week and decided to google whether or not our cats actually love us. And of course you can't really ask them, I figure it is pretty obvious. I mean, both our cats knew which his mom was... but one response that was great was, "your cat will love you as long as you feed it." I mean... if that is all it takes... why doesn't that work for humans????
lol...
Tomorrow is my day off! YAY! But I have a dentist appointment. I don't mind the dentist. But... not excited about the money I'll be spending on it... blah!
Have a great night! I'll make sure to not disappear for so long again!

P.S. Heard this song today.... and can't get it outta my head.... Enjoy!
