Just a note, and something I mentioned three years ago before my account went inactive.

I don't add people as friends just because they are hopefuls hoping to get people to "vote" on their sets, etc. Just as I'm sure some of you talented, intelligent and lovely ladies of SG would appreciate a guy or girl not just talking to you because you're pretty/hot, I would appreciate someone talking to me because they think I'm interesting or funny or smart....not because I can "do something" for them on the site.

I'm not saying you have to talk to me first or something. I'd actually prefer it if someone doing that doesn't bother (really, I like to be the one to pursue a friendship first, usually). Talking to people online, for me, has to be as organic as talking to people in person. I wouldn't make friends in real life with someone only trying to sell me something or convert me to a certain branch of Christianity, so I wouldn't do it here, either.

No, what the hopefuls are doing isn't the same of that, but it's not something I really go for.

I'm sure if you're meant to go pink, you will. Otherwise, cut it out, okay?
