So I found out today that Kristin's parents are going to put Cleo, a cat her family has had the pleasure of knowing for 22 years now, to sleep on Tuesday. We got to keep Cleo at our place for 6 months until our landlady acted in her typical bitchy fashion and wouldn't let her keep her. Cleo has bad joint pains and tends to poop and pee in random places now. She's basically over 100, so yeah, she's almost deaf and her health isn't getting any better. She also has started to bite and nip out of nowhere.
It's a shame. When she's not being cranky, she's the sweetest kitty. She loves sleeping on my shirts and my clothes because she likes my scent, and she actually lets me carry her around on her back sometimes.
Better she goes now, I suppose, than after a long illness, but this sucks. She was the first member of Kristin's family I met five years ago.
I'm going to miss her.

And I'm sorry about the cat.
