When all is said and done, I hope you look back on the life we had together and smile. Through the good times and the bad, I loved you with unwavering devotion. I worry for you, that you'll never find someone to make you happy enough that you'll grow old with them. Thinking of you alone makes me sad. But you have him and say it's love, I don't think you know what that word means, I hope that you truly feel it someday.
Kirstie and I are done, completely. She kept me hanging on until it was no longer possible. Then 14 years together died in a heartbeat. I was a wreck, I longed for death, then I woke up.
Now I'm doing ok. I'm still sad but now there's a desire to live and love where, before, there was only a yearning for it to end.
I'm not really sure how to find someone to love. I've never been in this position before. I'm not good with people, hopefully I get the chance to love again. I'm incredibly lonely... but hopeful.
