Next Month, my Wife is leaving on an 8 day, 60 mile trek through the Sahara Desert. She will be sleeping in tents, eating whatever shit they will serve in the camp at night and running all day.
It's all to raise money for The Muscular Dystrophy Campaign (our Nephew is a sufferer) and, yes, everyone is very proud of her and she's getting a lot of attention.
No-one is giving me any sympathy though, I have to stay at home and look after the two devil children whilst she's off on holiday and no-one is recognizing my suffering or sacrifice. I know, I'm an amazing, brave person.
Just in case she does read this:
Disclaimer - Everything above was meant in jest, I am extremely proud of Kirstie and recognize the hard work she is putting in for this cause. I also love my kids dearly and "Devil Children" is just a loving pet name for them.
Phew, ass covered!
"Each person has inside a basic decency and goodness. If he listens to it and acts on it, he is giving a great deal of what it is the world needs most. It is not complicated but it takes courage. It takes courage for a person to listen to his own goodness and act on it."
Pablo Casals
