the SGSF nowhas a very tender place in my heart for introducing me to a restaurant which serves unlimited mimosas (!!!) with brunch. which for me and sniggitysnags was chocolate chip pancakes.

if i look smug it's because im half drunk.
then we went to Pop's for karaoke later that evening where i spent a good deal of the evening hanging out with the wonderful Marge. everyone has been so welcoming and its good to finally feel like we're making headway in the friends department.
i'm sure the next couple weeks will continue to get even better. but in the meantime, time to buff up for a work trip to Vegas in a few weeks! time to finally lose the ham hocks.

I lived in Monterey (where the first Bubba Gumps opened) the year it opened and yet I've never been. I don't eat seafood! But they do have non-meat options, like frad chickin and I loves me some frad chickin. You have to eat the famed "Bucket o' Boat Trash" just to say you did.
