5 days on slow ass wireless will make you feel a bit maniacal after awhile.
so imagine my joy when the cable man came today!!!
things have been busybusybusy.we officially have furniture now and the moving people came yesterday with the rest of our crap. James has found a thai place which is as good as back home, and i discovered purple taro ice cream. (for the record, it tastes like not-quite-bubblegum plus not-quite-cotton candy.) we also have a great pub like a block away.
living without a car is not as much of an adjustment as I'd initially thought. Its actually really fucking liberating. plus i swear i'm getting more fit by the day.
we went down to boudin bakery on pier 39 last night, and i had this awesome salmon club sandwich with avocado, and James has fallen in love with breadbowls, so he has a corn and crab chowder in a sourdough breadbowl. we watched the sailboats in the bay and watched the seagulls walk all over people's mercedes cars in the parking lot.
After that we walked down to visit the seals for awhile, made a trip to union square.
the crate and barrel here is 3 stories high and i could very easily spend thousands of dollars in there on matching adorable housewares. they also have a great sephora and the shopping mall is like 6 or 7 stories. i bought myself a little fitted white hoodie, and really, it's all i need as a jacket most days.
i know this is long, but it's been awhile. i miss my ATL kids like whoa. they should come visit.
love to all.

A hot taro milk tea with pearls is THE BEST. But I haven't found a good one in the city yet. They are all so gross and artificial here! They know how to do it in the South bay.
