I'm now deployed, no home for a year, very different. I'm sitting in processing in North Carolina right now, and then I'm outta here on Monday. Everyone is really, REALLY, nice hear, it's fucking wierd. But we are going to a very shitty place, so I'll appreciate it.
Leaving home was hard, family cried a lot, but I was able to keep it together. Anyway, I'm beginning to understand how they feel, we are very focused though, so it must be harder for the people you leave. I'm clipping along, just as aloof as before I left, I'm ready to do my job and look forward to it. Internet is sparse, but I will be updating, so "friends!!!!" Keep in touch.

Dude...Its going to suck the first month, but then you kind of find your groove. It has been going on 7 months for me now! The days are going by quick.
