You know when you've had enough and you just have to get out of town. Well that was me this weekend. I said fuck it and hopped in my mini and headed off to Las Vegas. I gambled more than I should have but actually managed to leave with some money, and some new threads. I was smart enough to go spend the money I won while I was up before heading back to the table.
I tried to find the Neon graveyard, but just ended up driving around the ghetto for a few hours. Its amazing that in the hood in LV everyone is able to own a cadillac or a lincoln town car. Of course there house looks crappier than their car.
On the way back I ate at burger king and I got some food poisoning.
I spent a while puking but was on my feet the next day.
Today I got up and watched the LA Marathon around mile marker 19. Was anyone else there? There was a group giving tired runners free lap dances if they wanted to take a break. Next year I think I will run. I better start working out right now.

sounds like you had a good weekend too. that's awesome that you just picked up and left. i love doing that too.
don't be lured into the marathon by the temptation of lap dances. it's evil (see my journal). and i hear there are these places called strip clubs where you can get lap dances, and you don't have to wait a year or run 25 miles.
