You know, I don't think I could have ever predicted the almost exclusively warm reception that I've received here on SG.
I submitted my set to SG to represent & show a point of difference. Subversive hyper femininity is totally badass, especially if you have a fat body that looks like mine. I find so much strength in being seen in the images from my debut set on SG.
There are too many people to count who firmly insist fat women should NOT feel good, that I should not feel good.
But so far I've only encountered 1 man on this site who obviously missed the point of Wedding Belle & tried to insult me but wholeheartedly failed.
A few people have said get his comment taken off your album. Why though? In a sea of gorgeous, supportive commentary he looks the fool & that's none of my business.
But enough negativity! Let's celebrate the positives. I have been interacting with a sincerely lovely community since the minute I was active in this space.
I have received so much love & support, I've found some of my old fans & met a whole bunch of new ones.
The women on this site are freaking babes & inspire me SO much, I can't even fully express it. The level of artistry is amazing but it's completely unpretentious, just genuine fabulous women doing their thang, so damn well!
I met new crazy talented photographers & the pool of generally amazing people who I have access to has widened significantly.
Not to mention that I can share all of the other stuff that I get up to here, I can blog about what is going on for me & it's actually fun.
So thanks for being awesome folk of SG, it means a lot 💖
