i feel silly today, and in a good mood. no reason.

last night i was feeling the utmost rotten. i suspect soon i will start bleeding from the cunt. i certainly hope so, because i've had it up to about fucking here (imagine i am pointing to my forehead) with the premenstral mood swings. the worst is knowing i am sad/angry/suicidal/etc. simply because of hormonal...

i've been up and down lately. some days are great. some days are just low-down and rotten and laced with this urgent need to run far and fast. it's difficult to explain without getting deep into a mess that i'd rather not even scratch the surface of... at least not here. not now.

and maybe that's part of it. too much internalization. too much isolation....

keep it in your shower?

if it wasn't water and cereal it would have been root beer and cereal. Yeah, not too good.

a house that use to rent for $600 is $1200 or better now and you cant even find an apartment. frown
fred:
Yup, travelling is great. I'd like to get a chance to visit NO sometime actually. That, Seattle and a repeat visit to NYC.

I hardly ate anything either yesterday. I kept putting off dinner until it just seemed too much to get a burrito at 2am.
So I ate the only thing I had in the house... cereal with water. surreal

i love being up at the ass-crack of dawn.

it's so quiet, and it's so cold. it's beautiful as the sky lightens from pitch to grey, the stars still high and bright but begining to fade. and it feels as if the fabric that stretches between this world and the next is so thin that it might not be there at all. if you found...

you're lookin awfully cool in those pics, heh.

The thing about being in college. I know exactly how you feel. I did the same kind of thing where I dicked around until about 22 until I transfered to a university and had the full on college experience.
I think because of that break, and me being motivated to be there of my own decision, it made it a better thing.
So good for you!
providencia:
What an awesome entry.

the fly over states are very sad you feel that way.

excited about impending art from thee.

The way you scowl at that Starbuck's cup makes my huevos shrink in fear; if I was starting a The Warriors-type gang, I would definitely want you in it!
You seem to be more responsive to Melvina than Starbuck's.

Thank you for all that pic-resizing.

here's a fresh journal; for its own sake. if i let my comments stack up past the one page mark, it takes me forever to update.

i've got pictures, but i'm too lazy/busy/whatever to upload them.

it's fucking cold here, but i was smart enough to bring coats back from Kentucky when i went home for turkey. and i bought a new scarf. it's sweet....

Hey, imagine pink pants to go with ^< that jacket up there! At that point, I'd be forced to refer to you as "Leather" in all communiques.
daghost:

it's been a while, eh?

i am terribly busy. it's a good thing, really. i need to keep busy. when i have free time on my hands, i do too much thinking. thinking=bad. working=good. it keeps me honest, at least.

i wish i had time to write something longer and more substantial. but i have not had my coffee yet, and once i have my...

btw, I'm so absent minded, I've seen Kara Walker. She's in the first 2 seasons of art:21 on PBS. I've checked out the DVDs twice from Arlington Library. I really want to own them, too.

Collier Schorr, who was in my crush list and is now in my artists list, was in those shows... Sally Mann, too. Collier looks a boyish version of Bailey, she looks like Bailey's brother or something, hence my gigantic crush on her. Sally Mann's mom looked like tattoosandwhores smile I forgot to tell her about that (Sally showed old pics of her parents).

I have a crush on basically every woman artist in that damned series! Except maybe Louise Bourgeoise... not because she's old (I have a crush on Agnes Varda, after all!), but because she acts kinda creepy... it's amusing, but she has that severe old European woman 'tude thing going on.

I found Kara's looks and voice very sexy. I found her placidness vs. her art's rage alluring, too. smile It's rage, but with a sense of humor.

Arlington Library is in the process of getting the art:21 3rd season DVD. I've already put it on hold. I missed it and No Direction Home on TV in Sept/ Oct, due to me never watching TV anymore!... but Arlington Library saved me. They had the Dylan, and are getting this one.

So are you going back to New Orleans? My friend stayed with me for a couple of months because of Katrina. Now he's back near the french quarter, but there's not much in the way of utilities.
