i won this coat on EBay:
i realised (with dismay) that it might start getting colder before i can get back to New Orleans. i also realised i should not count on any of my things in New Orleans being in any kind of wearable condition. i mean, they might be. but i shouldn't count on it. i think i'd be setting myself up for major disappointment.
i miss my clothes. a lot. especially my leather jacket, the one in my profile picture. and my boots. and my leopard print hoodie. and my collection of t-shirts. and the list goes on and on. *sigh* whatever. nothing i can do about it now. except go on a manic EBay shopping spree. heh. no. can't afford it. but i still might.
um. in other news. we're getting closer to closing on the house. so keep your fingers crossed. unfortunately all this house bullshit is taking a lot of time away from being in school. and it will, no doubt, continue to take even more time away from being in school as we begin to work on fixing it up. i'm dreading the crunch. all i can think is, damn, i need to sleep a lot less to fit all this shit in to my day.
and i mentioned it last entry, but i'll leave the link up: i'm going to get to print with Bill Fick in November. go check out his work. it's grotesque and wierd and fucking beautiful.
that's it for today.
love.
