holy fuck, i'm so behind.

this grad school thing just ain't working for me. although all the other grads i've talked to said their first semester was pretty similar- it just took a while to get settled in and working. which is all well and good, and it does make me feel a bit less incompetent hearing that it's normal to be slow out of the starting gate. however, i doubt seriously that i'll be able to use that excuse on my professor. oh well. the guilt of not living up to my potential should, in theory, push me to work harder. or to postpone shit and fuck about on the internet. either way...

i was going to post pictures of the new house, but i don't really feel like it right now. i promise i'll get on that later.
