Wow so I haven't updated in forever, not like anyone reads this or anything. I've been meaning to do this recently but just haven't had anything to say. However, today I got tattooed and I thought that warranted an update!
First a little background. About a year and a half ago I started getting tattooed again after a year and a half-ish break. At that time I had a ton of unfinished work and had just found an artist who would work on my crappy feet tattoos, my crappy right sleeve and my wonderful but not finished ribs. Dave and I started with the ribs and they turned out brilliantly! Our plan was to then work on my feet/right sleeve. Somehow that never happened and instead we've been working on a new sleeve on my left arm instead! Now don't get me wrong my left sleeve is coming along very nicely and I'm totally stoked on it, but this still left me with 3 other unfinished tattoos. Why haven't we gotten to in the last year and a half you might ask yourself? Well basically it is b/c Dave is impossible to get an appointment with, drives me nuts honestly. So recently I found a new artist, one whom a lot of my friends had been going to and I decided he was worth checking out. Turns out we'd met before and he was familiar with the artist who did my feet/right sleeve and was more than happy to fix his work! Last week we had a short consult and decided we would start with my left foot (today), my sleeve (two weeks from now) and my right foot at some point later after I have some laser work done to remove a screwed up part of my foot that the current tattoo (a pirate ship) was trying, but failing to cover up. <end background>
So here is a picture of what we did today! I wish I had taken a before picture, but sadly I somehow never took a picture of my left foot in the 4 years I had the tattoo.
Here is it's non-updated right foot partner/nemesis (british clipper vs. pirate ship) which needs some removal over the plainly visible piece of tribal crap.
So clearly you can see the difference between the two, my left foot will probably need some minor touching up, but generally a vast improvement from what was going on there before! After today I'm totally stoked on the work we're going to be doing on my right sleeve in only 2 weeks! Totally stoked for that. I'll try and remember before/after pictures too.
Lastly here are some pictures of beta cat sun bathing and being cute.
