About a year ago, a few friends of mine made a short film, mostly because they were bored, had an idea from when they were drunk the night before, and one of them owns a camera. I didn't work on this one, but it was made by four guys that i've worked with several times. Now it's on the internet, so if you want to check it out, here it is:
Shotgun
This may not be nearly as funny to you as it is to me. I think part of the entertainment factor for me personally is that i hang out with these guys, so it conjours up certain images. But even if you don't like it, it's only just over 1 min.
I opened a bottle of tequila today. I bought it over a year ago and finally decided to open it. Oh. My. God. This is good tequila. I've always been a fan; it goes up there with gin (my all-time favorite, specifically a double on the rocks, no tonic no twist, like my profile says) and vodka, which is just a good drinking drink. But this shit was smooth; it beats Don Julio and that's not easy. You know how when you smell tequila there's a sharpness to it? Not there. And that involuntary stiffening of the nerves in your neck? Not there either. It went down like water, but lacked none of the taste. Now i understand how people can sip it; i couldn't, but i understand how someone else could. But it's $80 a fifth. $80! was it worth it? Eh, i'm not sure; $60 at least, $80 might be pushing it, but damn it's good.
I just realized that i don't have a quote in mind to end this with. I'll just stick in one of my quotes cause i can remember what i say fairly easily.
It is precisely because we uphold a principal when it serves us the least that we are able to employ it when it serves us the most.
