My parents are taking off for a month to Mexico. What troubles me is that my dad wants to drive there instead of taking an airplane. I'm worried because being in that country is not safe. Anything can happen, especially with the amount of corruption and poverty. I wouldn't complain if they took an airplane. Mexico is not a place to be driving around especially if you're going further south than Tijuana. They'll be somewhere in Guadalajara and other cities. I remember traveling around that country by myself when I was younger. I didn't drive, but I traveled by bus. It's just as bad too since I had to put up with people asking me for money and harass me in other ways just because I'm American. Also every freaking stop I would encounter soldiers holding their guns while searching me. Luckily nothing bad happened to me, but I was still faced with the possibilites of something awful happening. So it troubles me that my parents are driving down there. I would love to go with them just to make sure everything is alright, but I can't since school starts the same week they go...
By the way, my neighbors are stupid. They're mowing their lawn right now even though it has dead grass and patches of dirt.

You're right about that Eric. You actually set my mind at ease a bit. It just worries me with them driving around there, because I'm just going to be thinking about what could go wrong. I'll feel much better once they reach their destination. Mexico does rock each time I've been there.
