Went and saw Mest and Social Distortion last night! Hell of a show! Mest (which is one of my fav bands) played 3 new songs, 2 I haven't heard before. They were most excellent. Mike Ness seems rather pissed about how the republicans are running ship, but he took a minute to call out DeLay, who will be serving some jailtime, and said "they don't have stuffed pockets in prison". Anyways, hell of a show, shout outs to the Ramones, Johnny Cash and ex SD alumns were ever present, and Mest was very pleased with the way SD has treated them, said last night was the best night so far!!! Rock on!!!

Ok so the new Deftones is going to be released on Tuesday. The cd is available to listen at the link below...check it out...it is good shit, B-Sides and Rarities (mostly cover songs), but it is a different twist for the Deftones...gotta love the love of roots...
