I really, really love the rain! It is so calming and it puts me in such a mellow mood. My favorite things to do while it's raining:
- Hot tub! I don't have one but I think hottubing or even swimming in the rain is so much fun. I'm a Pisces and a water lover in general, but there's something kind of magical about being submerged when it's raining and hearing the raindrops hit the water.
- Lounging around all day in comfy clothes eating, smoking and watching my favorite movies or shows. These lazy days are my absolute favorite... Not having to leave the house for anything. Napping on and off and finding creative ways to keep my kids entertained.
- Laying in bed at night listening to it storm outside. Cuddling and rolling around in the sheets with that someone special :)
I however hate being on the road when it's really coming down because people are idiots and forget how to drive. I dislike walking in the rain and getting my shoes, socks, and pants wet because that is just uncomfortable and annoying. And when I am at the salon, working on clients, I get really tired of hearing people complain about the rain haha. Northern California doesn't get enough rain and I'm just thinking "Ugh quit bitching!! Soon you'll be complaing about the heat and how tired you are of these Indian summers"
It's currently raining and I am home and it is so nice! My kids and I are watching The Princess Bride and I'm about to start cooking dinner. I promised them hot chocolate and marshmallows as a special treat ☺️
