Time for my new weekly segment...

Reviews of movies I have seen in the last week. I meant to start this 2 weeks ago so I have a little bit of build up. I am also looking for any of my friends who have Netflix so I can start using the friends list on Netflix.
I am going to give ratings in both IMDB 1-10 stars and Netflix 1-4 starts..
The complied ratiting is in () for IMDB.

Star Trek: Nemesis
IMDB: 5/10 (6.5)
Netflix: 3
I am a ST:NG geek, I didn't get around to seeing this movie for a long time. It was pretty bad, some people on NG are just not action people and make the fighting scenes look like shit. Jonathan Frakes / Riker should be hauled off and shot the guy can not act for shit in this movie. Even if your a ST fan, just forget about this movie and act like it never happened.

XXX: State of the Union
IMDB: 3/10 (4.0)
Netflix: 2
Ice Cube is the man... But he is one shitty action star. Ice Cube couldn't do action and stunt if his life depended on it. Don't think I am hating on Cube, I think he was excelent in Barbershop & Boyz In the Hood.

Spun
IMDB: 7/10 (6.3)
Netflix 4/5
Glad I found this gem on the shelf. Jason Schwartzma, Mickey Rourke Brittany Murphy John Leguizamo Patrick Fugit Mena Suvari Deborah Harry Eric Roberts Billy Corgan Ron Jeremy... Who the fuck isn't in this movie. Keep an eye out for me, I want to pick up the unrated DVD.

Return of the Living Dead
IMDB: 7 (6.8)
Netflix 4
This is a classic Zombie flic. Made me think a lot about the old school horror/comedy mix that used to be in movies opposed to the straight horror we see today. This is creative, scary and not too kiddy humor to hit the young audience. SG fact, the first appearence of Spooky Suicide... for those of you who have been around here long enough to know what I am talking about.

Return of the Living Dead II
IMDB: 4 (4.8)
Netflix: 2
A lot of people like this movie. I think it was a kiddy horror movie, big disappointment in my book. But with zombies, you at-least get a 4 from me.

Lost in Translation
IMDB: 9 (8.0)
Netflix: 5
Great romance story. Billy Murray... Scarlett Johansson. I also love Japan and really want to travel there some day. I used to really like Giovanni Ribisi but now he is a sciencetoligist so he is written off as a total dumb ass in my book forever.

You Me and Everyone We Know
IMDB: 8 (7.5)
Netflix: 4
A simple flick about love, life, being a kid and divorce. I will quote Roper on this and say I am glad some can take the risk and make a simple, beautiful film like this. Please check out the IMDB forms on these they are a riot about liberals having sex with children... ))<>(( forever..

Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events
IMDB: 7 (6.8)
Netflix: 4
I though this was a very beautyfull film visual. It is also a great orginal story. Lots of great cameos. I didn't set my sights high for this movie but I was very happy with it.

Kinsey
IMDB: 7 (7.5)
Netflix 4
I wish the writing was as good as Kinsey story. I feel like there was a lot lost things that could have been cut out or added to. I really love the story, great acting. Lithgow is a genius! SEE THIS MOVIE. Kinsey would be a member of slut pride if he were on SG.
