So for the second time in as many years, one of my friends has been told they have less than three months to live owing to cancer; Colin was 39 and Zanne is 31 years old. What the fuck is wrong with the world?

Rudy is all better and the vet has told us that his eye is all healed, no need for any surgery.
So now he can get back to annoying his best friend (that's not me)
Poor Rudy has had a melting ulcer in he eye, it was the full depth and it looked for a while like he might lose his eye. Fortunately the vets made some serum from his blood and I've been giving him them and antibiotics (initially every hour, not much sleep that night!) but on our return from Amsterdam he's been given a much better prognosis!...
