Test drove a BMW S1000RR for the second time.
I decided to ride my motorcycle and take the back roads into Grand Rapids. After finally getting out of the road construction going on in Lansing, I was able to enjoy a peaceful ride through the back roads of west Michigan. Once I got to the BMW dealership, all i had to do was sign a no fault waiver. The technician told me abotu all of the bikes fancy electronics and the best riding position. So I looked at him and the salesman and said "ok so which one of you is riding with me" and they gave me a funny look and said "your going solo".
So I hopped on the S1000 and took off and I have to say, HOLY SHIT!!!!! That bike was absolutly fantastic! Its the fastest production bike in the world, yet you really wouldnt know it if you rode it. It could easily coast at 25mph without struggling to go faster. It was tame around the the corners and forgiving on rough roads. But then you hit the open farm roads. Thats when the bike goes Super Saijen! (yes Dragonball Z reference) It went 0 to 100 in no time flat, took hard turns like a champ, hell it even screamed in rage! It wanted to be rode as fast as possible, but i knew that i would get into waaaaaaaaaay too much trouble if i took it any further than 100.
After riding the S1000 I was aching for more. Hopefully come september I will have an S1000RR of my own.........
