I don't think i have been this happy since i was a little boy in california.

i lead my first expedition 3 days ago.
we found things that were extremely questionable to a specific era. the other day i sat in my tent over looking a relic. i could feel a vibration. it was singing.. speeking to me the mysteries of ancient civilization. at that moment everything was so clear, then at once so blurry.

where are those thoughts now?

talked to the professor about forgotten realms today, for 3 hours.

then i became aggitated at the entire world, and didn't speak to anyone.

someone once told me that "there are at least three ways to do any one thing."

Finally.. after flying a few hours (21), I reach CAI, or Cairo. Settled in and relaxing.. in a hotel that seems sooooo unbelievable. The atmosphere is incredible. When i entered the hotel, emediately i knew where they came up with the architecture for the sultan's palace in "Alladin." Ellegant yet so.. rich in culture. The city is very modernized.. but completely different from the society...

HA HAA.. so glad to be leaving this island. As we speak i am at honolulu international airport. typing away on my laptop trying my best to ignore everyone. in 2 hours i leave for Cairo. no worries, I will still be in touch.

I rounded up a few books today. One in particular is titled, "Shamanism, Colonialsm, and The Wild Man." Completely engaging and sophisticated. Then i sat down and went through a series of pictographs, searching for something that might relate. After that I proceeded to watch Indiana Jones and the lost Arc. i went to work today. turned a few wrenches on an engine needing work (jet aircraft engine). someone asked me about a component of the motor he was working with at the moment... so i went on about all its related systems/functions and somehow tied it into a forgotten realms novel. The two have nothing in common. my co-worker was slightly frightened.

i finished up "Justine" today, by Marquis De Sade. a fine piece of literature. Then i went down to the study and did some more research on the dead sea scrolls. all i came to believe even more is that the vatican is hiding possibly everything. i am going to egypt soon. i will know more then, hopefully. and why the fuck am i telling...

what the hell is this shit? i couldn't be more annoyed.. well yes i could, but.. damn. I need to get the fuck off this rock.

bought Euclids novel "The Elements" today. It makes a fine addition to my library. Next I will be looking for something by Plato. I think he wrote seven volumes on life but i cannot remember.
