Wow! Big storm last night. Tropical Storm Ernesto blew through last night packing more of a punch than I expected. Growing up in coastal NC I've been through a fair share of hurricanes and such, and I wasn't expecting much in central NC from a tropical storm. But... we have 3 trees down, one over 100 feet tall and wind which made the house creak...

sitting here, doing paperwork
listening to good music,
day dreaming while I'm working.
I took a walk around the house,
out among the banana tree with puppies playing,
insects chirping,
stars begining to twinkle.
now the music plays and my mind drifts again...island time,
love,
space time and the like....

margaritas, alone time, down time,
everything is all right.

Back from the islands... what a trip! I really am an island boy, I thrive on island time, island drinks, island heat, island sun and salt water. I can't wait to go back in November. I have found my calling as a charter boat captian. Plenty of time to read, plenty of time to contemplate, cultivate my counter culture, learn lots of history, meet people...

I've had a Banana Bender and I've been to the Soggy Dollar multiple times. biggrin

If I am on Jost, I like to go to Foxy's and One Love! I always have so much fun there.

Foxy has a dri nk named "Friggin on the Riggin", it's so good!

On Sunday I leave for St Thomas... So gorgeous I can't wait. I am so thankful I have been afforded the opportunity to experience such experiences. What is the meaning of life? Relationsips & experiences...

Does anyone notice how selfish people are? Why is that? What have we done as a society to move people into a box, into their personal space where they think...

I would love to have a lot of money, but I'm with you on wondering what you could do with $100 million. Exxon Mobil making record breaking profits in these times is unreal.

Borrringgg....
Life is borrringgg. Since my trip to Cali, I have worked and gone to the beach. Nothing too interesting. My dogs (Higgins & Pinto Beans) got cited for harrasing the neighbors. Shomehow the other 20 neighbors don't mind them, they even like them, but there's always one a-hole in the neighborhood.

I was wondering...what role do gay men and women play in society, in...

Been awhile...
I leave for San Francisco in 2 days...super exiting. It's mainly a nature trip, Yosemite, Kings Canyon. But we're also going to a game and a vineyard. We have 2 days (28th&29th) with nothing planned. Anybody got any ideas? How about where to get a drink and have a good conversation? Any good shows?

New Year's Day and we're still alive. Time to reassess goals and dreams, progress and redemption. May the sun shine bright on the sandy shore of your life!

Hi Huggles!

woot woot! i love being a helper!

For posting photos, do you use a PC or a Mac?

Either way, you need a photo-editing program.

Photoshop is a program which will work, but really overdoes the idea.

I use a PC, and the photoeditor i use is MS Office Photo Manager (Go to Edit Photo>Resize). It's super EASY. Once you have resized your photo to under 100KB, you can upload it into a pics folder.

Alternately, if you're looking to use it as a profile picture, you need to make sure it's under 100KB and precisely 235px wide by 174 px high. Px stands for pixels. Most photoediting programs will help you with this.

Last, but certainly not least, if all of this sounds like hogwash to you, please just e-mail me your photo, and I'll resize it for you. Easy peasy!

good luck!

I cannot figure out how to post a damn picture! I think all mine are too large. Any help?
trestria:
It's a pain in the ass. You have to know the URL of where your picture is. If you make a folder in your pics section then you should be able to upload a picture. Right click your picture and click on properties or something where you can find the URL of the picture. Highlight the URL and insert it after you have already clicked on the "Image" link where it says insert on the side of the message you are writing. (By the smilies) Once you've clicked on Image, then you insert the URL and click OK. That's it!
